Anita Drieseberg's Bio

Award winning artist, published author, and self-described "Spinster", Anita's comedy is rather ridiculous, but the real Anita is only "slightly" ridiculous.  Originally from Burlington, Ontario, Anita now reside on San Francisco where she is a regular at the SF Punchline, and Cobbs Comedy Club . She has also performed at The Comedy Store in LA,  Yuk Yuks and Absolute Comedy in Toronto, and Laugh Boston and Club Passim in Boston. She has participated in several comedy festivals, including SF Sketchfest and the Women in Comedy Festival, and was a co-founder of the "Left Coast Comedy" Collective, which produced a CD called "San Francisco Blabity Bleh". She is the creator of the online animated series "Heckville", the Facebook comic "SanFranita is...",  and her humorous animated shorts have won international prizes! (well, two).  Her new FB Page "Maude Heckles, Evil Villainess of Heckville" has over 5000 followers!
